Emtek

Designer-tier door and cabinet hardware — the program builders specify when the kitchen and the entry both need to feel intentional. Solid brass and stainless construction, deep finish range, and matched families across knobs, levers, pulls, and hinges so a single schedule covers the whole house.

Production-tier value brand for cabinet pulls, knobs, hinges, and slides — the workhorse program for spec houses, repeat townhome plans, and rental rehabs where the schedule has to land at a price the GC can quote without re-bidding. Same finish vocabulary as Emtek so substitutions are clean.

Matte black, satin nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, polished chrome, unlacquered brass, champagne bronze, and the rest of the modern range — specified once and held across every group on the schedule. The single most common reason builders consolidate hardware to one supplier.

Stock items in the standard finish range pick up the same day or roll on the next delivery. Extended Emtek finishes — the ones that aren’t in core stock but ship from the factory — are about a week and a half. Specialty and custom orders (architect-spec entry sets, oversize pulls, barn-door track to a specific finish) sit in the back band; spec early.

What pushes a job up the band: keyed-alike entry sets across multiple doors, oversize bar pulls (12″+), barn-door track to a specific finish, architect-spec privacy and dummy combinations, and any finish that lives outside the core stock list. Bringing a sample of an existing piece helps the rep match what’s already on the house.
